Jeep Australia is building just 50 examples of the Wrangler Rewind, a limited-edition model priced at $73,990 RRP before on-road costs. It began as a one-off concept at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari, generated enough attention to convince Jeep to put it into production, and is now available to pre-order at Jeep dealerships across Australia.
The Rewind is available exclusively on the four-door Wrangler. It combines a bold 1980s-inspired exterior and interior design package with the standard Wrangler’s proven mechanical platform, adding genuine comfort upgrades including heated Nappa leather seats with 8-bit arcade embossing, gold-accent wheels and full body decals in red and blue.
If you are considering one, here is everything you need to know.
What makes the Wrangler Rewind different from a standard Wrangler?

The Rewind is not a badge and floor mats exercise. Jeep has made meaningful changes inside and out that distinguish it from other Wranglers on the road.
On the exterior, full body decals in red and blue streaks run across the bodywork, drawing directly from 1980s motorsport and graphic design. Bronze Jeep and Trail Rated badges replace the standard chrome finish, 17-inch alloy wheels carry gold accents, and body-coloured fender flares and a matching three-piece hardtop give the package a cleaner, more unified appearance. A dedicated Rewind soft spare tyre cover finishes the exterior.
The interior is where the concept runs deepest. The premium Nappa leather seats carry embossed 8-bit pixel graphics, with iced blue and plum accent stitching running across the steering wheel, dashboard and cabin touch points. A custom dot-matrix shifter medallion and rear swing gate plaque with Rewind branding complete the look.
Four colour options are available at no additional cost: Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal and Reign.

Is the Jeep Wrangler Rewind still capable off-road?

Yes. The Rewind uses the same mechanical platform as the standard Wrangler, with no compromises made to accommodate the styling package.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder driving through an 8-speed automatic. The Selec-Terrain active on-demand 4×4 system includes a two-speed transfer case, heavy-duty Dana front and rear axles and factory skid plates. The fold-down windscreen, quick-release door hinges and removable roof sections remain standard, so the open-air, go-anywhere character that defines the Wrangler is unchanged.
The Rewind is a functioning off-roader wearing retro clothing, not a lifestyle model that has traded capability for aesthetics.

Where was the Wrangler Rewind first shown?

The Rewind debuted as a one-off concept at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari, where it was tested on real terrain and emerged as one of the event’s most talked-about vehicles. The response was strong enough that Jeep moved it into production as a 50-unit limited run for the Australian market.
How do I order a Jeep Wrangler Rewind?

Pre-orders are open now through authorised Jeep dealerships across Australia. With only 50 units allocated to the market, availability will be limited.
